Pursuant to its competences as defined by law, the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) has initiated the proceedings for setting of tariffs for operation of the independent system operator and tariffs for the system and ancillary services.
Based on the application of Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, that is, based on the currently available data as well as those to be collected during the tariff proceedings, its revenue requirement will be determined, the structure of costs to be included in the tariff for operation of the regulated entity will be approved and tariffs for the system and ancillary services will be set.
Tariff proceedings have to ensure that tariffs are based on facts and estimations which are in compliance with the general tariff setting principles and the criteria as laid down in the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator in BiH and Tariff Pricing Methodology for Services of Electricity Transmission, Independent System Operator and Ancillary Services.
The State Electricity Regulatory Commission informs all interested parties that until 22 November 2019 they have the opportunity to gain access to the complete documentation at the SERC premises and send comments in writing regarding the subject of the proceedings to the SERC address (Tuzla, Đorđa Mihajlovića 4/II, fax: 035 302077, e-mail:

). The application, that is, the data available in the tariff setting proceedings, will be accessible on the SERC website www.derk.ba.
At the same time the State Electricity Regulatory Commission issues a
PUBLIC NOTICE ON FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING
Crucial facts in the tariff proceedings will be determined at a formal public hearing to be held on Monday, 16 December 2019 at the Congress Hall of the Tuzla Hotel in Tuzla starting at 13:00 hrs.
The formal hearing is open to the public but the present parties representing the public may not give any comments. The parties who are interested to participate in the tariff proceedings including the formal public hearing in the capacity of interveners have to submit their requests in writing no later than 22 November 2019. Intervener status may be granted to a party who provides evidence of direct interest in the tariff proceedings which differs from the general public interest.
