Mr. Mirsad Salkić, a member of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission, was elected President of the Energy Community Regulatory Board (ECRB) on March 10, 2010 in Athens.

Besides the representative of the European Commission in the capacity of the Vice-President, the Board comprises representatives of national regulatory authorities in the region and fourteen countries of the European Union.
The new President of the Regulatory Board announced the continuation of coordinated approach to the development of a stable regulatory framework and a market area ensuring necessary investments and security of supply to electricity and natural gas customers.
