PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF TEMPORARY LICENSE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ELECTRICITY - HSE BH Print

HSE BH Energetsko preduzeće d.o.o. (HSE BH Energy Company Ltd.) Sarajevo filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of the license for international trade in electricity. HSE BH d.o.o. Sarajevo was registered on June 10, 2010 with the Sarajevo Municipal Court. The founder of the company is “Holding Slovenske elektrarne” d.o.o. Ljubljana, Republic of Slovenia with 100% share in the capital stock.

The applicant is a holder of an initial, that is, temporary two-year license for performance of the activity of international trade which expires on November 30, 2012.

In accordance with its rules and regulations, SERC will address a complete and formal application, which provides necessary facts and evidence, in the procedure without holding a formal hearing. Interested members of the public may object to this decision of SERC.

 

The application has to provide evidence of the applicant’s technical, legal and financial abilities to fulfil all criteria, conditions and standards prescribed by the Law on Transmission, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule. These criteria are conducive to the creation of the conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BiH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licensing conditions requirements which reflect the relevant acquis communautaire of the European Union and are conducive to the achievement of the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as SERC rules and regulations.

The persons interested in acquiring the intervener status may file a written request with SERC no later than June 21, 2012. SERC may grant the intervener status to a person who proves direct interest in the procedure for the issuance of the license, which differs from general public interest.
