PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ELECTRICITY - AXPO BH

Axpo BH, Limited Liability Company, Sarajevo filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of the temporary license for international trade in electricity. The Company was registered by the Decision of the Basic Court Sarajevo number 065-01-0734-12. The founder of the company is EGL AG Company seated in Switzerland, Werkstrasse 10, 5080 Laufenburg.

SERC shall decide upon a complete and lawful application presenting all required facts and evidence, in accordance with its rules and regulations through the procedure without holding a formal hearing. Interested members of the public may object to this decision of SERC.

The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capabilities of the applicant to fulfill all the criteria, conditions and standards prescribed by the Law on Transmission, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule. These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BiH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licensing conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of SERC.

The persons interested in acquiring the intervener status may file a written request with SERC by 20 October 2012. The intervener status may be granted to a person who proves direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the license, which differs from the general public interest.

By 20 October 2012, the public will have an opportunity to have an insight into the application and other documents at the SERC premises or submit written comments pertaining to the subject of the procedure at the following address: State Electricity regulatory Commission, 75 000 Tuzla, M.
