PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ELECTRICITY Print

“EL-EN SOLUTIONS”, a single person limited liability company for production, trading and services Banja Luka (hereinafter: the Company) filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of the license for international trade in electricity. The Company was registered on 21 May 2012 pursuant to a decision of the County Trade Court in Banja Luka, and was created by merging “Axel” d.o.o. Laktaši and “IMOINVEST” d.o.o. Banja Luka. The founder of the Company is GL&Holding GmbH c/0 Kanzleit Mag. Dr Thomas Keppert 1060 Wien, Theobaldgasse 19.

SERC shall decide upon a complete and lawful application presenting all required facts and evidence, in accordance with its rules and regulations through the procedure without holding a formal hearing. Interested members of the public may object to this decision of SERC.

The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capabilities of the applicant to fulfill all the criteria, conditions and standards prescribed by the Law on Transmission, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule. These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BiH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licensing conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of SERC.

The persons interested in acquiring the intervener status may file a written request with the SERC by 24 August 2012. The intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for the issuance of the license, which differs from the general public interest.

By 24 August 2012, the public will have an opportunity to have an insight into the application and other documents at the SERC premises  and/or submit written comments pertaining to the subject of the proceedings at the SERC address: 75 000 Tuzla, M.
