PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSES FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ELECTRICITY Print

The State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) established the completeness of the applications for the issuance of licenses for international trade in electricity filed by the following applicants:

-       MH "Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske" – Parent Company a.d. Trebinje

-       JP "Elektroprivreda Hrvatske zajednice Herceg-Bosne" d.d. Mostar

-       JP Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine d.d. Sarajevo.

SERC had previously received the applications for the issuance of licenses for performance of the activity of international trade in electricity, assessed the completeness thereof and informed the applicants accordingly.

The applicants are obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of licenses.

The persons interested in acquiring the intervener status may file a written request with the SERC by 24 August 2012. The intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for the issuance of the license, which differs from the general public interest in the issuance of the license. The role and responsibility of the intervener are specified by Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.

By 24 August 2012, the public will have an opportunity to have an insight into individual documents from the applications at the SERC premises  or submit written comments on the applications at the SERC address (Tuzla, M. After the verification of data, documents or information attached to an application and the evaluation of comments provided by the public on a summary of the application, SERC shall advise if it is necessary to hold a public hearing before a recommendation on a draft license or a proposal not to issue a license is prepared. The recommendation on a draft license or the proposal not to issue a license and further proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the Licensing Rule.
