PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENCE FOR INTERNATIONAL ELECTRICITY TRADING ACTIVITY - NOA ENERGY TRADE BH Print

Pursuant to Article 4.7 of the Law on Transmission, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BIH, 7/02, 13/03, 76/09 and 1/11), and Article 10 of the Licensing Rule – Consolidated Version (Official Gazette of BIH, 63/16), the State Electricity Regulatory Commission issues a 

PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENCE FOR INTERNATIONAL ELECTRICITY TRADING ACTIVITY 

The legal person “Noa Energy Trade BHˮ d.o.o., Sarajevo, is interested in performing the international electricity trading activity which is the reason why it filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of a licence. The address of the applicant's registered seat is Skenderpašina br. 1, Sarajevo.

The Company was entered into the Register of Business Entities of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo under the company registration number (MBS): 65-01-0381-25. The founder of the Company is “NOA Energy Tradeˮ Shpk., Tirana, Albania.

The applicant is obligated to provide evidence of fulfilling all criteria and standards for the issuance of the licence. The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule.

These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continued electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BIH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licence conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

The persons interested in acquiring intervener status may file with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission a request in writing no later than 3 June 2026. Intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the licence, which differs from the general public interest in the issuance of the licence. The role and responsibilities of interveners in the licensing procedure are defined in Article 11 of the Licensing Rule.
