PUBLIC NOTICE IN THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENCE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ELECTRICITY Print


The Company G-Petrol d.o.o. Sarajevo is interested to continue performing the international electricity trading activity, which is the reason why it filed with the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) the application for issuance of a new license for performance of the same activity.

The Company was entered in the Register of Business Entities of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo under the company registration number (MBS): 65-01-0638-11. The founder of the Company is: NIS PETROL Limited Liability Company Banja Luka, ul. Kralja Nikole 26, Banja Luka.

SERC will decide upon a complete and lawful application presenting all required facts and evidence, in accordance with its rules and regulations through the procedure without holding a formal hearing. Interested parties may object to this decision of SERC.

The application has to verify technical, legal and financial capacities of the applicant to fulfil all the criteria, conditions and standards as prescribed by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Licensing Rule. These criteria are conducive to the creation of conditions for unlimited and free trade and continuous electricity supply in accordance with the defined quality standard to the benefit of BiH citizens, and the creation of the electricity market. SERC is free to include in the licensing conditions requirements reflecting the relevant acquis of the European Union and contributing to the objectives of laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as rules and regulations of SERC.

The persons interested in acquiring the intervener status in the procedure for issuance of the temporary licence may file a written request with SERC no later than 6 August 2018. The intervener status may be granted to a person who proves a direct interest in the procedure for issuance of the licence, which differs from the general public interest.
