PUBLIC NOTICE IN TARIFF PROCEEDINGS |
Pursuant to its compenteces as defined by law, the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) has initiated the tariff proceedings for setting of tariffs for operation of the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the tariffs for system and ancillary services at its own initiative.
Pursuant to the Rules on Tariff Proceedings, the Independent System Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, has been invited to submit the necessary documentation which would include an analytical overview all realized, estimated and planned revenues and expenditure requirements for 2017 and 2018.
The tariffs will be set pursuant to the criteria as laid down in the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tariff pricing methodology for services of electricity transmission, operation of ISO and ancillary services. When deciding on the application, to the extent possible SERC will conform to the basic principles prescribing that tariffs will be fair and reasonable, non-discriminatory, established on objective criteria, based on justified costs and determined in a transparent manner.
Crucial facts in the tariff proceedings will be determined at a formal public hearing of which the public will be informed subsequently.
Formal hearings are open to the public but the present parties representing the public may not give any comments. The parties who are interested to participate in the formal public hearing procedure in the capacity of interveners have to submit their requests in writing no later than 10 December 2017. Intervener status may be granted to a party who provides evidence of a direct interest in the tariff proceedings which differs from the general public interest.
