Mr. Mirsad Salkić, the Chairman of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission, will chair the Energy Community Regulatory Board (ECRB) also in 2011.

Namely, in the Energy Community Regulatory Board meeting held on February 16, 2011 in Athens, it was unanimously decided that the current President, Mr. Mirsad Salkić would continue to perform this function for yet another term.

Representatives of national regulatory authorities of nine countries in the region, the European Commission and 14 countries of the European Union participate in activities of the Energy Community Regulatory Board, which was established by the Treaty Establishing the Energy Community in October 2005. The Regulatory Board makes regulatory decisions of regional importance and has an important role in the energy market.

The re-election of Mr. Edin Zametica, M. Sc., as Chair of the ECRB Customer Working Group is yet another recognition to SERC but also to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since recently Mr. Saša Ščekić also contributes to the affirmation of SERC in the position of the Chairman of the ERRA Standing Licensing/Competition Committee.
